Learning and Development Manager (Tamil Speaking)

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conducting Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Minimum Quality Standard (MOS) training programs and monitoring the continuity of same to achieve and maintain the specified brand standards
  • Analyzing training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing modules/ programs
  • Using effective training methods to ensure employees have a good understanding of guest satisfaction and can demonstrate guest satisfaction skills
  • Identifying the training and development needs of associates to meet and support the business objectives
  • Organizing and coordinating inter-hotel and national level competitions
  • Building relationships with external trainers and coordinate external training programs
  • Establishing appropriate methods to monitor and evaluate training programs effectiveness periodically and report on the same
Key Competencies Required:
  • Be a graduate or diploma holder from a recognized hotel school specialized in Food & Beverage/Accommodation Operation with a minimum of 4 years' work experience
  • Ability to speak and write in Tamil language is a must
  • Work independently, show initiative, manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
  • Be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Learning & Development Manager

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage the development and implementation of the hotel learning and development plan in order to prioritize critical areas and equip Colleagues with the skill-sets required to meet future business objectives.
  • Conducting Standard Operating Procedure and Minimum Quality Standard training programs and monitoring the continuity of same to achieve and maintain the specified brand standards
  • Assisting in the continuous development and improvement of current training modules/programs
  • Organizing and coordinating inter-hotel and national competitions
  • Build relationships with external trainers and coordinate external training programs
  • Establish appropriate methods to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the delivery of the training programs
Key Competencies Required:
  • Be a graduate or diploma holder from a recognized hotel school specializing in Food & Beverage/Accommodation Operation with a minimum of 4 years work experience
  • Work independently, show initiative, manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
  • Be a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of core hotel operations and of the luxury hospitality industry.
  • Strong presentation, relationships management, and teamwork skills.
