The Elephant Gathering

Safari at Minneriya National Park ~

Known as one of Greatest Wildlife Wonders of the World by Lonely Planet and listed as one of the Top Wildlife Spectacles by BBC and CNN… the gathering is the largest congregation of Asian elephants… on earth. Hundreds of wild elephants from different herds meet at Minneriya National Park… to play, frolic in water, socialise and even find mates.
 

This phenomenon happens just twenty minutes from Habarana Village by Cinnamon – and it happens every year, peaking from July to October.
