Tao, Ying-Yang for the Taste buds

A Grand Dining Experience Across 16 Specialty Restaurants

Why go through an extensive list of dining options in Colombo when you can walk into the Grand and have it all? We aren’t quite sure why they say you can’t have your cake and eat it, because it’s exactly what we want our diners to do. Our 16 specialty restaurants and lounges bring you cuisine from around the globe to wine you and dine you in true, Grand style. What’s more – every day of the week will find you engaging in specialty dinners, buffets and other offerings allowing you to pamper your taste buds to satisfy your inner foodie. Traditional Sri Lankan in a village setting, fine dining in a grill, grub at an old English pub, traditional Chinese, South Indian delicacies, fusion cuisine, tea lounges and more give you an endless list to choose from at any given moment. Clink your glasses and bite into our scrumptious selection over here at Cinnamon Grand Colombo.

Tao redefines fusion food by using a Yin meets Yang philosophy when combining delicacies. Our corridor-like outdoor setting overlooks the poolside, surrounded by koi fish, creating a Zen-like mood for that spontaneous mid-week wind down. An open kitchen and frozen Margarita Station complete the minimal setting. While there are many Chinese, Thai and Japanese restaurants in Colombo, no restaurant has attempted the merging of tastes quite like we do over here at Tao.

TIP:

  • Throwback your Thursdays at Tao’s Epicurean Night that serves 24 bite-sized portions that comprise 7 starters, 3 soups, 7 mains and 7 desserts.

CUISINE:

  • Asian Fusion

OPENING HOURS:

  • DINNER ONLY
  • DAILY: 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm (Until midnight from Thursday to Saturday)
