Price match applies while you are selecting your room on www.cinnamonhotels.com, before your booking is confirmed and payment is made. Once your reservation is completed, Price Match no longer applies.

• Have the same cancellation and refund conditions
• Include the same meal plan and inclusions
• Be publicly available and bookable online at the time of comparison

Rates that differ in any of these aspects are not eligible.

No. Price Match compares rates against a selected set of third-party travel websites, which may vary by property, destination, or market. Cinnamon does not guarantee that all third-party websites or Online Travel Agencies are included in the comparison at all times.

If you find a lower eligible rate after booking directly on www.cinnamonhotels.com, you may submit a claim under Cinnamon's Best Rate Guarantee, subject to its terms and conditions. If approved, Cinnamon will match the lower rate and apply an additional 15% discount.

• Once the booking is confirmed, Price Match no longer applies. Any post-booking rate discrepancies fall under the Best Rate Guarantee policy.
• For a rate to be eligible for Price Match, the third-party rate must:
• Be for the same hotel, room type, stay dates, number of guests, and rate plan
• Have the same cancellation and refund conditions
• Include the same meal plan and inclusions
• Be publicly available and bookable online at the time of comparison
• Price Match compares rates against a selected set of third-party travel websites, which may vary by property, destination, or market.
• Cinnamon does not guarantee that all third-party websites or Online Travel Agencies are included in the comparison at all times.
• Availability of Price Match is subject to system connectivity, data accuracy, and third-party rate visibility.
• Third-party rates are sourced from external platforms and may change without notice.
• Cinnamon is not responsible for discrepancies caused by delayed updates, currency conversions, rounding differences, or third-party display errors.
• Price Match is applied only if the lower rate can be verified in real time during the booking process.
• Price Match is a pre-booking enhancement to Cinnamon’s Best Rate promise.
• If a lower eligible third-party rate is not identified during booking, guests may still submit a claim under the Best Rate Guarantee, subject to its terms and conditions.
• The additional 15% discount applies only to approved Best Rate Guarantee claims and does not apply at the Price Match stage.
• Price Match applies only to direct bookings made on www.cinnamonhotels.com
• Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to modify, suspend, or withdraw the Price Match feature at any time without prior notice.
• All Price Match decisions made by the system are final at the time of booking.

Yes, in order to submit a claim, you must first have a confirmed reservation booked with www.cinnamonhotels.com that is for the same hotel, same type of room, same number of guests, same dates of stay, same length of stay, same guarantee and cancellation policy, and be booked under the same conditions as the third-party site. The lower rate must meet the Cinnamon Best Rate Guarantee Terms and Conditions to qualify.

Once a claim form has been submitted, it can take up to 72 hours for verification and approval.

If your claim meets the terms and conditions of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, our team will honour your claim by arranging your stay at the lower rate. An additional 15% discount will also be ensured on the new room rate.

Our Best Rate Guarantee only applies to the room rate for the duration of your reservation and does not include any taxes, tariffs or fees imposed by any government authority. The rates being compared to determine if the claim is valid must both either be including taxes or excluding taxes.

• When a website does not reveal the name of the hotel or room rate until the booking is made.
• When a website combines travel, entertainment, hotel and / or food and beverage components into a consolidated package.
• Packaged rates that include coupons, vouchers, parking, meals, service charge, taxes, and other service amenities.
• Rates that have been negotiated by the hotel with corporations, membership rates, government rates, promotional rates etc

• Include all mandatory taxes and fees (or clearly disclose them)
• Not require membership, login, promo codes, loyalty access, or negotiated agreements

• Once a claim form has been submitted, it can take up to 72 hours for verification and approval.
• Claim rewards will be applicable for up to 3 guest rooms.
• Rate comparisons will be made excluding any taxes, gratuities, or any other fees associated with the room rate, and the comparison rate must still be available and accessible by the Best Rate Guarantee agent processing the claim at the time Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts validates the claim.
• Approved Best Rate Guarantee claims are valid only for the original reservation details. Changes made after approval, including name
  changes, may affect the approved rate or result in cancellation.
• Please note that the claim would not be valid, if the lowest rate located on a third-party platform is the same as the brand site (www.cinnamonhotels.com).
• If a matched rate was available during the booking process but was not selected before completing the reservation, the booking will not be eligible for a subsequent claim.
• The rates publicly available at www.cinnamonhotels.com will be applicable for this guarantee. Certain rates do not apply to the guarantee. For example, a comparison rate does not qualify if it is not publicly available, such as negotiated corporate rates, senior or group rates, or rates available through paid memberships (i.e.: AAA), rates negotiated for extended stays, rates that have different rules such as cancellation or refund policies, or rates that include differing guaranteed custom room options.
• We do not accept package rates that include a combination of a room and travel, airfare, cruise, transfers, etc. We cannot guarantee that room plus other components or amenities such as non-breakfast meals, tickets etc., can be applied to the reservation.
• Rates on auction websites, on sites that do not disclose the hotel brand until the reservation is completed or that require a login or specific credit card to view or book, or on sites that do not provide an immediate confirmation (e.g., an “on request” rate) are not accepted.
• Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts may deny claims where the difference between the comparison rate and the Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts rate is less than $1 per night. Rate disparities primarily attributable to fluctuations and / or differences in currency exchange rates are excluded from the guarantee.
• Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is not responsible for any fees or other costs incurred due to the cancellation of a reservation.
• Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to deny a claim, if it cannot independently verify the availability of a comparison rate at the time it processes the claim. Screenshots of comparison offers will be used to assist with claim review procedures but will not be accepted as validation of a comparison offer.
• Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts may deny claims if it believes this guarantee is being intentionally abused or manipulated to circumvent its intent.
• When multiple rates for the same hotel, meal plan, reservation dates, and room type are available through a Cinnamon online channel you must reserve the lowest rate for that room type using our public promo code, to be eligible for the guarantee.
• Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to modify or cancel the guarantee at any time without prior notice.
• The Best Rate Guarantee policy does not apply to promotional Sri Lankan Resident Rates.
• Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to cancel any previously approved claim if it finds that the guest violated or circumvented these terms and conditions and to cancel and reject any other and future Best Rate Guarantee claims from any such guest. In such an event, the guest will remain bound to the terms of any bookings made on any channel, including cancellation terms.
• Claims must be submitted:

1. Within 24 hours of booking
2. At least 96 hours prior to standard check-in time

The Best Rate Guarantee does not apply to:

• Package rates including flights, transfers, or bundled third-party services
• Loyalty-only, closed-user-group, or member-exclusive rates
• Corporate, government, wholesale, or negotiated rates
• Opaque, auction-based, or offline rates
• Rates from websites that do not allow independent verification
• This policy applies only to bookings made directly via www.cinnamonhotels.com
• Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to amend or withdraw this policy at any time.
• All claim validation decisions made by Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts are final.
