Christmas

We went for Dinner (Buffet) on Christmas night at Courtyard at Cinnamon Grand, this is our 2nd consecutive year. The food was simply delicious and had a great variety in the spread. The staff were so courteous and very specially would like to mention Chamath who made the perfect eggnog & was very attentive to us throughout our dinner. We decided that every Christmas dinner going forward will be at Cinnamon Grand. It definitely has that very homey and warm feeling being there. Would recommend anyone to check out their restaurants and the daily buffets. Maybe give it a try for New Year's eve or 1st Jan.

Our second visit to this wonderful resort and didn’t think it could get better than the 1st time. Stayed in a beach bungalow which was ideally located to restaurants and bars. We spent Christmas and New Year here and both nights had a gala dinner, the food was amazing big shout out to all chefs. Also big thanks to our waiter Jaleel who had the coffee and tea ready at breakfast and drinks on tap for lunch and dinner. We treated ourselves to Spa treatments on day of arrival … Oh my, definitely recommend. We cannot find any fault, all staff from the ladies who keep the gardens and pathways clean right up to the General Manager Sanjeeva Perera are an asset to this resort.

Good food with a nice ambience! Friendly staff with an amazing service! Christmas dinner was exceptional with so many varieties and entertainment. Couldn't have spent Christmas eve at a better place! Highly recommend.
