MEET TRIPOD
The heart of our reef
Tripod is a Hawksbill Sea Turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata), a critically endangered species recognised for their important role in keeping coral reefs healthy. Born with only three flippers, Tripod was once thought unlikely to survive. Today, he’s a thriving part of our vibrant house reef and a symbol of resilience.
Hawksbills like Tripod gently graze on sponges and algae, helping to maintain the delicate balance of our marine ecosystem. His story reminds us that even the smallest life can inspire meaningful change and that with care, nature finds a way to recover.
